Don's Automotive Gold Coverage will protect the original purchaser as outlined below for a period not to exceed 12 months with a one time labor allowance not to exceed the original purchase price. 

Limited Warranty

Your recycled part from Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. (Don's) a Team PRP/URG Recycler is covered by this limited warranty unless specifically excluded in writing at the time of sale.

General

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part and only as long as the part is still installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. This warranty is not transferable.  If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. must be informed immediately.  All claims must be accompanied by the part and the original sales receipt.  Defects must be verified and all work under this warranty authorized by Don's Automotive Mall, Inc.  Transportation cost of any part to Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. is specifically excluded from this warranty.  Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any part at its option.  Such repair, replacement, or refund will satisfy all obligations under this warranty.  Any improper use, abuse (including but not limited to overheating or low oil in engines and transmissions), neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs, or removal of a part from the vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase from Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. shall void this warranty.  Melting of heat tabs installed by Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. if applicable will be considered evidence of overheating.  Labor costs, including the cost of moving attached external parts from the purchaser's old part to Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. part, seals, gaskets, fluids, and similar supplies are specifically excluded from this warranty. 

The liability and obligation of Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. under this warranty shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing, down time, or direct or indirect or consequent damage, or delay resulting from any defect.  Labor expense coverage, when purchased, is a one time Labor allowance paid at $50.00 per flat rate hour not to exceed the purchase price on original invoice.  This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  No action by Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. under this warranty shall extend the original warranty period or alter its obligation.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights.  You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  Any cause of action arising from any warranty action must be filed in Binghamton, NY.

Engines

Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of its engines to be free of defects for a period shown on the invoice from date of sale.  The parts covered by its warranty are the engine block, cylinder head with valves, cam shaft, connecting rods and bearings, pistons, piston rings, oil pump, crank shaft and bearings, rocker arms, valve lifters and other internal parts.  Excluded from this warranty are the carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, all electrical parts, hoses, lines, intake and exhaust manifold, fuel injector pumps, all other fuel injection parts and all other external parts.  Calibration and adjustment of excluded parts is also excluded from this warranty.  This warranty is void if new oil and oil filter are not used during installation. See limitation below.

Transmissions

Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser its transmission to be free of defects for a period shown on the invoice from the date of sale.  The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts including the torque converter.  Excluded from this warranty are the transmission mounts, shifting linkage, flywheel, all other external parts and problems that result from not installing new front and rear seals when installing the transmission.  Warranty is void if unit improperly installed or adjusted. Computer codes must be cleared and any external issues addressed prior to test driving vehicle.

Other Parts

Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that recycled parts sold by it will be free of defects for a period of 91 days from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted on front of invoice.  Properly installed and refinished sheet metal parts are guaranteed, for an amount up to their original price, against rust and corrosion for one year from the date of purchase

Warranty and Labor Expense Coverage Limitations on Engines, Transmissions, Transfer cases, Axle assemblies and Removable carriers only:

Passenger Cars and GAS Powered SUV, Light Truck and Vans up to ¾ ton-Normal Use-are eligible for up to 2 years parts and labor coverage, must be purchased at time of sale.

Heavy Duty Trucks and Vehicles, Marine Engines, Motor Homes, Commercial Vehicles, Plow trucks, Dump Trucks, Taxi cab,  and Industrial or Off Highway Vehicles - 91 Day Parts Replacement Warranty with no labor allowance.

Parts will be supplied by Don's, no charge, or Don's will approve the purchase of these parts, which will be reimbursed at Jobber Cost, plus labor based on Motor Flat Rate Manual Time for that vehicle calculated at $50.00 per hour. Labor coverage is a one time allowance for repairs up to the purchase price of the covered item. If no labor coverage purchase is indicated on invoice parts for the repair will be supplied by Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. no charge, or Don's will approve the purchase of these parts which will be reimbursed at Jobber cost. At the discretion of Don's Automotive Mall, Inc., the item may be repaired, replaced or original purchase price refunded.

Warranty Time Period
General

At the time the part covered by this warranty is returned to Don's Automotive Mall, Inc., Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. will reimburse the original purchaser of the part listed on its invoice as described above, providing Don's determines that the part failed within the period of the Limited Parts Warranty, the Limited Labor Allowance (applies to engines, transmissions Transfer cases, Axle assemblies and Removable carriers only when labor coverage was purchased), if all conditions of the original Limited Parts Warranty were met, and the part must be replaced.  Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. retains all rights under the Limited Parts Warranty including the right to repair rather than replace any part covered by that warranty or refund original purchase price. The limited labor allowance covers only the specific part described by part type and Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. stock number on the invoice.  The liability and obligation of Don's Automotive Mall, Inc. under this warranty shall not exceed the amount of original purchase price or time period shown on the original invoice and shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing (including towing to any repair facility), down time or direct or indirect or consequent damage or delay resulting from any defect.
